The Department of Prakrit at S.B. College, Ara is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich linguistic, literary, and cultural heritage of Prakrit language and ancient Indian traditions. The department aims to develop students’ understanding of classical languages, Indian philosophy, literature, and cultural history through quality education and academic activities.
The department offers knowledge in various areas of Prakrit studies including Prakrit Language and Literature, Ancient Indian Texts, Grammar, Jain and Buddhist Literature, Linguistics, and Indian Cultural Traditions.
